Some people have a story that takes them down a few unexpected paths, and Andy’s is a good one.
From playing hockey in high school to serving in the Marines, Andy has built a life shaped by different experiences, challenges, and opportunities. Today, he serves as a fire chief, a role that comes with responsibility, leadership, and a commitment to serving others.
Outside of his career, Andy’s greatest adventure is being a dad to Fiona and Ferris. Fiona is a sophomore in high school, and Ferris is in seventh grade. These are the years filled with growing up, discovering who you are, and making memories along the way.
Andy’s story is also connected to a little family history. Our moms were roommates in their twenties, and his mom was the one who introduced my parents. Our families spent time together several times a year when we were younger, making this session a fun connection to a history that goes back a long way.
It was a pleasure getting to photograph Andy and his kids and capture this season of life for them. Between the individual portraits and the photos of the three of them together, these images are a reminder that while life takes us in all kinds of directions, the people we share it with make the journey that much more meaningful.
Andy, Fiona, and Ferris — thank you for letting me capture these memories!
